骨发生断裂。通常因外伤所致。但由于骨癌转移等病理性原因也能使骨质脆弱，易于断裂。骨折按骨的断裂程度和产生原因可分为单纯骨折、复合骨折、青枝骨折、完全骨折、粉碎性骨折和病理骨折等种类。
