噫yī

 （表示悲痛或叹息） alas: 颜渊死， 子曰： “～！ 天丧予！ 天丧予！” When Yan Yuan died, the Master said, “Alas! Heaven is destroying me! Heaven is destroying me!” ～， 艳冶之貌， 则代有之矣； 洁朗之操， 则人鲜闻乎。 Alas! Every age has its captivating women, but one rarely hears of one who is truly pure and upright.
