(用盐等浸渍食物) preserve in salt; salt; pickle; cure: ~ 黄瓜 pickled cucumber; ~ 肉 salted meat; bacon; cure meat by salting; ~ 鱼 salted fish; 用盐 ~ 鱼 preserve fish in [with] salt; 肉 ~ 了起来, 以备日后食用。 The meat was salted away for future use.
